RECURSOS PARA LA CONSEJERÍA

La clave de la consejería cristiana se encuentra en los recursos que Dios ha entregado a su iglesia. Esos grandes recursos son la Palabra y el Espíritu Santo.

Los problemas que las personas enfrentan tienen que ver con la conducta humana. Nada más que la Palabra de Dios puede dar explicación de las conductas aprobándolas, reprobándolas, corrigiéndolas o animándolas. Las situaciones humanas son repetitivas y no hay problemas que puedan catalogarse como únicos. Todas las condiciones han sido experimentadas previamente por otras personas y la Biblia tiene la respuesta para cada una de esas situaciones.

Algunas veces no es fácil identificar la raíz de las dificultades. El corazón del hombre es engañoso y utiliza recursos de negación para evadir la responsabilidad. Allí es donde la participación del Espíritu Santo es importante para poder dilucidar la verdad de algunas situaciones. Posiblemente las personas afirmen algo como evasiva pero el Espíritu Santo puede guiar al cristiano sobre la realidad de lo que ocurre.

El Espíritu Santo actúa con toda libertad y puede hacerlo en cualquier lugar y hora. Por esa razón no se pude limitar el trabajo de la consejería cristiana a la reunión de célula. El Espíritu Santo no tiene fronteras y puede actuar en el lugar y el tiempo que mejor conviene.

El cristiano debe permanecer sensible a esos momentos de Dios y descansar en que posee los recursos que se necesitan para una consejería eficaz: la Palabra y el Espíritu Santo.

Resources for counseling.

The key in Christian counseling lies in the resources God has given to his church. Those great resources are the Word and the Holy Spirit.

The problems people face are related to human behavior. Nothing but the Word of God can explain behaviors, approving, reproving, correcting or encouraging them. Human situations are repetitive and there are no problems that can be classified as unique. All conditions have been experienced previously by other people and the Bible has the answer for each one of those situations.

Sometimes it is not easy to identify the root of the difficulties. Man’s heart is deceitful and uses denial resources to avoid responsibility. That's where the participation of the Holy Spirit is important to elucidate the truth of some situations. Perhaps people will affirm something with an evasive answer but the Holy Spirit can guide the Christian to what is really happening.

The Holy Spirit acts freely and can do so at any time and place. For that reason the work of Christian counseling cannot be restricted to the cell meeting. The Holy Spirit doesn’t have boundaries and can act in the place and time best suited.

The Christian must remain sensitive to those moments of God and rest in the fact that he possesses the resources needed for an effective counseling: The Word and the Holy Spirit.

사람들이 대면하는 문제들은 인간 행동과 연관되어 있다. 하나님 말씀 외에는 온전히 노출시키고, 책망하고, 설명하고, 교정하고, 격려할 수 없다. 인간의 상황들은 반복적이며, 독특한 케이스로 분류할 수 있는 문제들이 없다. 모든 조건들이 다른 사람들에 의해서 이미 경험되어졌다. 그리고 성경은 이러한 상황들 각각에 대해서 대답하셨다.

때때로 어려움의 뿌리들을 찾아내는 일은 쉽지가 않다. 인간의 마음은 교만하며, 벽들을 세우고 책임을 회피하는 도구로 자주 쓰인다. 이러한 이유로 해서 성령님의 간섭하심이 진리를 설명하고 어두움을 드러내는데 중요하다. 사람은 얼버무리고, 거짓의 답변으로 응할 수 있을지 모르지만, 성령님은 정말로 일어나고 있는 것을 분별하도록 신자들을 인도할 수 있다.

성령님은 자유로이 행동하시며, 시간과 공간의 제약을 받지 않으신다. 이러한 이유로 해서, 기독교 상담은 셀모임에만 국한시킬 수 없다. 성령님은 경계선을 가지고 계시지 않으며, 어디에서나 언제나 그가 선택하신 시간, 장소에서 사역하실 수 있다. 그리스도인은 하나님이 인도하시는 상담에 매순간 민감해 있어야 하며, 하나님의 말씀과 하나님의 영 안에서 효과적인 상담을 위한 필요한 자원들이 있음을 명심해야 한다.
