CÉLULAS ROTATIVAS.

Al iniciar nuestro trabajo con células, el entusiasmo corrió rápidamente y muchas personas comenzaron a ser invitadas. Algunos amigos asistieron tantas veces a una célula que llegaron a comprender un poco sobre la dinámica de trabajo.
Pronto aparecieron personas, que sin ser cristianas, solicitaban ser anfitriones para que en su casa se desarrollara una célula. Ante semejante solicitud nos encontramos con una situación que, de alguna manera, rompía con el modelo acostumbrado del trabajo celular.
Para no dar una respuesta negativa que pudiera desalentar a los amigos, decidimos comenzar a trabajar con algunas células rotativas. Estas son células que funcionan por una, dos o a lo sumo tres semanas en una misma casa. Luego, rotan para trasladarse a una nueva casa ubicada en las cercanías.
La célula continúa así rotando a menos que una de las familias anfitrionas llegue a la fe del evangelio. Cuando eso ocurre, la célula se convierte en permanente y no rota más de casa en casa.
Obviamente, la clave para que una célula rotativa no pierda identidad es que el núcleo de la misma esté muy bien consolidado. Cuando eso sucede, la célula se estructura en torno a sí misma y no en relación a un espacio físico determinado. La casa puede cambiar, pero el núcleo sigue siendo el mismo y se traslada a donde hay necesidad de iluminar con la luz de Cristo.

Rotating cells.
As we started our work with cells, the enthusiasm was rapidly spread and many people began to be invited. Some friends attended a cell so many times that even got to understand a little about the work’s dynamics.
Soon people appeared, who without being Christians, asked to be hosts to have a cell in their own homes. Before such a request, we found ourselves with a situation that somehow broke the usual pattern of cell work.
To avoid giving a negative answer that could discourage these friends, we decided to start working with some rotating cells. These are cells that function in one, two or at most three weeks in the same house. Then rotate to move to a new house located nearby.
The cell continues to rotate in this way, unless one of the hosts’ families comes to the faith of the Gospel. When that happens, the cell becomes permanent and does not rotate from house to house anymore.
Obviously the key for a rotating cell to avoid losing identity is to have its core very well cemented, when this happen the cell builds up around itself, and not in relation to a particular physical space. The house may change, but the core remains the same and moves to where there is a need to shed the light of Christ.

우리가 셀을 가지고 사역을 시작하였을 때, 열정이 급속히 확산되고, 교인들이 많은 사람들을 초대하였다. 초대를 받은 새로운 친구들 중에는 참석을 많이 하다보니, 소그룹 역동성의 내적 힘에 친숙하게 되었다. 그 불신자들도 셀 분위기를 즐기게 되자, 그들 자신의 집을 스스로 오픈하게 되었다. 갑작스럽게, 우리는 셀 사역의 일반적인 패턴이 아닌 전혀 새로운 상황을 맞게 되었다.

이러한 친구들을 실망시킬 수 있는 부정적인 대답을 주지 않기 위해서, 셀그룹은 집에서 집으로 돌아다니기로 결정하였다. 셀들은 한 주나 두 주, 혹은 3주 간격으로 한 집에서 모인다. 그리고는 셀들은 근처의 새로운 집으로 이동한다.

심지어 요즘에도, 우리의 셀들은 이런 방식으로 돌아다닌다, 오픈하는 집의 식구 한 사람이 그리스도의 신앙으로 나올 때까지. 이러한 일이 일어날 때, 우리는 회심한 가족에게 계속적으로 셀을 위해 집을 오픈해 달라고 요청한다.

셀이 돌아다니면서도 정체성을 잃지 않기 위해 우리가 발견한 방법은 각각의 셀 안에 헌신된 코어(Core) 셀을 두는 것이다. 헌신된 코어가 있을 때, 셀은 모이는 장소의 물리적 사이즈에 상관없이 셀 건강을 유지할 수 있음을 발견하였다. 집은 바뀔 수 있지만, 헌신된 코어는 동일하게 유지지되으며, 그리스도의 빛을 필요로 하는 곳으로 이동한다.
