LAS CÉLULAS Y LOS EVANGELISTAS

El ministerio del evangelista posee la gracia especial de alcanzar a muchas personas para Jesús. Algunas personas han llegado a pensar que las iglesias celulares no necesitan de los evangelistas dado que poseen un sistema de alcance permanente de los perdidos. La participación de un evangelista es momentánea, en tanto que el trabajo celular es permanente. Pero no existe tal rivalidad entre los evangelistas y las células. Se debe recordar que en el Nuevo Testamento todas las iglesias estaban basadas en las casas y, sin embargo, los evangelistas se encontraban en plena acción.

 

El ministerio del evangelista es complementario al trabajo celular y viceversa. Ninguna iglesia está mejor preparada para trabajar al lado de un evangelista que las iglesias celulares. Cuando una iglesia celular recibe la visita de un evangelista sus capacidades evangelizadoras se ejercen en dos momentos: el primero es cuando las células movilizan a los invitados para asistir a los cultos del evangelista, el segundo es cuando atiende a los nuevos creyentes haciendo de ellos discípulos del Señor. La visita del evangelista dinamiza y estimula el trabajo de invitación y discipulado que las células ya hacen. Cells and Evangelists

Some people think cell churches do not need evangelists. They believe that gifted evangelists are no longer required since each cell reaches out to the lost. But this is not true.

The Evangelist Ministry has the special grace of reaching many people for Jesus. There should be no rivalry between evangelists and cells. The participation of an evangelist is event-driven while cell work continues. We must remember that both took place in the New Testament. All the churches met in houses, but the evangelists continued their ministry.

The ministry of evangelists is complementary to cell work. No church is better prepared to work with an evangelist than cell churches. When a cell church receives the visit of an evangelist, evangelism takes place in two moments: the first is when cells mobilize the guests to attend the services of the evangelist, and the cells serve the new believers, making them disciples of the Lord. The evangelist’s visit energizes and stimulates the invitation and discipleship work that the cells already do. In this way, the visit of an evangelist stimulates and contributes to the work of cell leaders.
