CÉLULAS EN TIEMPO DE INFLUENZA

A partir del reciente brote de influenza humana tipo A H1N1, se han comenzado a tomar medidas de prevención. Parte de ellas es la de limitar las reuniones muy numerosas de personas.
En México, donde se produjo el brote, los partidos de fútbol se realizan a estadio cerrado. También se cancelaron proyecciones de películas, obras musicales o de teatro y todo tipo de actividad que concentre grupos de personas.
Dentro de ello, también entran en cuenta las iglesias. A partir del domingo pasado se tomó la medida de suspender los cultos en iglesias ubicadas en focos de contagio. Algunas de esas iglesias son celulares y amigas nuestras. En llamadas telefónicas nos han informado que los cultos en el local están suspendidos; pero, siguen reuniéndose en las células.
Dado que las células son grupos pequeños de personas, no existen impedimentos sanitarios para que continúen reuniéndose. De esa manera, se da atención a las personas que, en medio de esta epidemia, buscan a Dios como esperanza y protección. A pesar que los edificios de las iglesias están cerrados, las casas de los cristianos siguen abiertas para recibir a los sedientos por Cristo. Todo esto no sería posible fuera del modelo celular.

Cells in times of the influenza
Since the recent outbreak of human influenza type A H1N1, preventive measures have been undertaken. Part of them is to limit numerous people’s meetings.
In Mexico where the outbreak took place, the soccer matches are held at a closed stadium. Projections of films, musicals, theater, and all type of activities that concentrate groups of people were also canceled.
Churches are also considered within that. Since last Sunday it was taken the measure of suspending the churches’ services located in infection focus’ areas. Some of those are cell churches and our friends. Through phone calls they have informed us that services in the church building are suspended; but have continued to meet in cells.
Because cells are small groups of people, there are no sanitary impediments to continue to meet. In that way, attention is given to people that, in the middle of this epidemic, are seeking God as their hope and protection. Even though churches’ buildings are closed, Christians’ houses remain open to receive the thirsty for Christ. All this wouldn’t be possible outside the cellular model.

셀교회와 인플루엔자 전염병

최근 H1N1 타입의 인간 인플루엔자가 발발한 이후, 당국은 공중 모임의 숫자를 제한하는 예방 조치를 취했다.

멕시코에서, 처음 발생하였는데, 축구 경기들도 취소되었다. 영화관, 음악회, 극장, 그리고 사람들을 집단으로 끌어모으는 모든 종류의 활동들이 허용되지 않았다. 교회도 "공중 모임"의 영역에 속하는 것으로 취급되어, 또한 취소당했다. 지난 주일 이후, 전염병 집중 지역에 위치한 교회들의 예배를 일시 중지시키는 방책을 내놓았다.

이들 교회들 중에는 우리 엘림교회와 협력하는 셀교회들도 있다. 전화를 통해서, 그들이 우리에게 전해주기를, 교회 건물 안에서의 예배들은 일시 중지되었지만, 셀들은 계속 모임을 하고 있다는 것이었다.

셀들은 작은 숫자의 사람들이 모이는 소그룹이기 때문에, 모임을 지속함에 있어서 보건 위생법상의 장애물들이 없다. 차라리, 전염병의 한가운데서도 하나님을 찾는 자들에게 소망과 보호하심을 제공한다. 심지어 교회 건물들은 굳게 닫혔지만, 셀들은 그리스도를 목말라하는 자들을 수용하는 열린 통로로 남아 있다. 셀교회 모델은 이 모든 것을 가능케 한다.
